Updated Fishing Report

The first week of the year has seen the odd chub to 5lb being caught by pleasure fishermen, as well as a few nice roach to 10oz. Unfortunately some heavy rainfall the day before the first match of the year saw the match at Cuddesdon be relocated to Chiselhampton at the last minute due to rising floodwaters. 9 brave fishermen braved the very fast moving river which rose about 9inches during the match. R.Smith was the lucky one who managed to find two good chub (one of which unfortunately fell off at the net) and won with 3lb 12oz. Next match due to be fished on the 11th Jan could be in doubt looking at the weather forecast as more rain is predicted, but we will keep our fingers crossed!
