Match Report 7/10/18 - Thame Championships

15 teams of four fished the Thame Championships from 10am to 3pm on Sunday 7/10/18 in good weather conditions. Congratulations to the winners CMVAA "B" team who just clinched a very tight result after gaining 43 points equalling Thame A.C & winning on weight countback! To give some idea of how tight the result was Bryan Butler took second place & 14 points in C section with 5lb 7oz with third place only one ounce less & B Team captain Bryan "Otter" Ball  took fourth place & 12 points in D section by half an ounce! The remaining B team anglers were Tony Coffin & Keith Nash who contributed a combined total of 17 points. The team won the Thame Championship, four individual trophies & shared £280 between them. The CMVAA "A" team came fourth with 37 points and won a share of £100. A team captain Kevin Smith won D section with 6lb 4oz recording second highest weight of the day & won an additional £40.
