Match Report 30/9/18 - John Smith Trophy

11 anglers fished the John Smith Trophy match at Drayton St. Leonard from 11am to 4pm. Weights were predictably low as we begin the transition from Summer to Winter fishing. Eventual winner was Bryan Butler with 2lb 8oz from Peg 7 who recorded back to back wins. Second was Kevin Smith on Peg 3 with 1lb 10oz, third Bryan Ball on Peg 4 with 1lb 8oz & fourth was Tony Coffin on Peg 10 with 13oz. Bryan Butler included some quality dace & chub on waggler tactics in his winning weight.
