Match Report 29/7/18 - Battle Cup

Despite weather forecasts for heavy rain and gusts of wind up to 50mph 10 anglers decided to brave the elements & fish this match at Cuddesdon. The Battle Cup was fished from 7.30am to 12.30pm & eventual winner was Dick Martin on Peg 12 with 4lb 8oz which was an excellent result given the conditions. Dick's weight mainly consisted of roach & dace caught on the usual Summer method of pole fished maggot. Second was Kevin Smith on Peg 7 with 2lb 15oz, third was Bryan Butler on Peg 14 with 2lb 14oz & fourth was Bryan "Otter" Ball with 2lb 8oz from Peg 10.
