Match Report 27/10/19 - Ralph Holman Cup

Eight anglers fished the Ralph Holman Cup match at Chiselhampton on Sunday 27/10 from 11am to 4pm. The winds & rain of previous days had finally subsided but the anglers expectations were low as they faced one of the first frosts of the season along with bright sunny conditions & a rapidly rising river! Winner was Bryan "Otter" Ball on Peg 17 with 2lb 7oz. Bryan had a nice mixed bag of dace, chub & roach which were caught on pole fished maggot. Second was Richard Cantwell with 2lb 4oz from Peg 23 & third was Charlie Green with 1lb 11oz from Peg 11.
