Match Report 26/8/18 - Horspath Cup

Despite a weather forecast for heavy rain for most of the day 14 anglers decided to fish the Horspath Cup match at Chiselhampton from 7.30am to 12.30pm. Kevin Smith won the match from Peg 3 with a weight of 3lb 5oz narrowly beating Joey Gleed on Peg 10 who weighed in 3lb 3oz! 3rd place was Dick Martin with 2lb 9oz & 4th was Tony Coffin with 2lb 1oz. The winning weight mainly consisted of roach including some decent sized fish on the usual summer method of pole fished maggot.
