Match Report 24/6/18 - Charles Wiblin Twilight Trophy

Despite the clash with England versus Panama in the World Cup 15 anglers fished the Charles Wiblin Twilight Trophy at Cuddesdon from 3pm - 8pm. The final result was very close with only 4 ounces separating the first three! Eventual winner was Richard Cantwell on Peg 5 with 4lb 3oz. Second was Dick Martin on Peg 21 with 4lb 2oz, third  was Julian Rayment on Peg 3 with 3lb 15oz & fourth was Joey Gleed on Peg 8 with 2lb 4oz. The winning method was predominantly pole fished red maggot. Next match is the Charles Brown Cup and the draw will be held at Drayton Bridge at 6.45am with fishing from 7.30am to 12.30pm.
