Match Report 23/2/20 - Bob Gibson Cup

With the River Thame continuing to be flooded into the fields the decision was made to fish the Bob Gibson Cup Match on the carp lake at Berrick Salome on Sunday 23/2/20. The draw was at 9am with fishing from 10am to 3pm & six anglers decided to brave the elements (strong winds & rain) & fish the match. 11 year old Henry Rayment recorded a comfortable win with a commendable weight of 47lb 3oz caught on method fished pellet. Second place was Kevin Smith with 16lb 2oz which consisted of three "proper" carp, two small carp & a roach. Third was Roger Smith with two carp for 7lb 6oz.
