Match Blog 11/3/18 - Presidents Cup

10 anglers fished the Presidents Cup which was moved to the carp lake at Britwell Salome as all three of our venues on the River Thame were in flood after recent rains. The match was fished from 9am to 2pm and the carp had all moved to the windward side of the lake leaving 5 of the 10 anglers struggling for a bite! Eventual winner was Dick Martin with 20lb 5oz, 2nd was Bryan "Otter" Ball with 14lb 2oz, 3rd Dave Bloomer with 6lb 0oz & 4th Keith Nash with 1lb 0oz. Most of the fish were caught on pole fished red maggot.
