8,650 fish now stocked!

We are delighted to be able to report that a total of 8,650 fish have now been stocked into our sections of the river to improve the fishing over the last 3 years. The latest stockings were 500 roach & 150 bream on the 20/4/18 at Chiselhampton. These fish were in addition to the 400 chub, 400 barbel & 200 roach that were also stocked at Chiselhampton on the 9/4/18. All the fish were around 7 inches in length. Previous stockings were 1,000 7 inch barbel at Drayton on the 24/10/17 & 6,000 baby barbel that were stocked at all three of our venues ( 2,000 each at Cuddesdon, Chiselhampton & Drayton ) on the 22/9/16. These fish should now also be 5 - 7 inches in length as they are now over 2 years old.
