Match Report14/7/19 Hue Williams Cup

15 anglers fished the Hue Williams Cup at Chiselhampton on Sunday 14th July from 3pm to 8pm. Weather conditions were good but a lack of recent rainfall meant the river had dropped about 12 inches in depth and the flow was light. Peg 4 came up trumps for the second consecutive match as Charlie Green won the match with 3lb 5oz. Joint second were Dick Martin & Tony Sexton with 2lb 14oz from Pegs 6 & 21 respectively narrowly beating Kevin Smith who came fourth with 2lb 13oz from Peg 16. Large numbers of small fish were caught during the match but bites from bigger fish were few & far between.
