Match Report 2/8/20 - Hue Williams Cup

14 anglers fished the Hue Williams Cup match at our new venue Drayton Farm on Sunday 2nd August from 3pm to 8pm. Most anglers didn't know whether they had a "good" peg as this 20 peg venue has not been match fished for over a decade. Bright sunny conditions coupled with a blustery wind made for a challenging match. Despite this 8 of the 14 anglers caught over 2lb of fish. Winner was Julian Rayment with 3lb 4oz from Peg 2. Second was Kevin Smith with 2lb 14oz from Peg 12. Third was Tony Coffin with 2lb 11oz from Peg 20. Joint fourth were Dick Martin & Charlie Green both with 2lb 8oz from Pegs 5 & 6 respectively.
