Match Report 20/9/20 - Brian Coles Cup

14 anglers fished the Brian Coles Cup match at Cuddesdon on Sunday 20th September from 7.30am to 12.30pm. With the water level indicator at Drayton Bridge only showing 0.77 metres & a bright sunny day forecast the decision was made to use the deeper water pegs at Cuddesdon in the "spinney" & along the "broads". Fishing often seems to thwart expectations & for some reason the deep water pegs on the "broads" didn't fish very well. Winner on the day was Joey Gleed with 4lb 5oz from Peg 11. Joey caught most of his fish on pole fished maggot or caster. Using similar tactics second place was Kevin Smith with 3lb 9oz from Peg 18 with the bulk of his weight being roach. Third came Julian Rayment with 3lb 4oz from Peg 28 & fourth was Richard Borrell with 2lb 0oz from Peg 10.
