Match Report

A typical September morning greeted the 12 members who attended the match at Cuddesdon this morning. We did do our best not to distrub the large group of campers in the field next to us but may have woken a few! Was again a close fought competition with only oz's covering much of the placings. As things turned out the first three all fished the broadwaters area - which meant a long walk through the stingers but it did pay off (plus we escaped the wind), weights were mainly made up of some nice roach up to 6ozs. Congratulations to Tony Coffin who had the longest walk but drew the golden peg and won from peg 24 with 2lb 8ozs, taking home a total of £124 - which we have been informed was promptly spent by his wife! 2nd was K Nash from peg 21 with 1lb 15oz's and 3rd M Ball from peg 23 with 1lb 14oz's - (special thanks to the perch that let go of my bait first cast as I swung it in which would have put me 2nd).

Next match up is the Thame Teams of Four on the 29th, please contact one of the committee members asap if you are interested in attending.
