Cuddesdon A team narrowly beaten in Thame Championships

CMVAA fielded three teams of four anglers in the Thame Championships which was fished by a total of 60 anglers divided into 15 teams of 4 on Sunday 1/10/17 from 10am to 3pm. Sections A & B were at Thame and C & D at Wheatley. Conditions on the day were quite good though there was a blustery wind and the river is still low. Cuddesdon A team comprising of Kevin Smith, Joey Gleed, Julian Rayment & Dick Martin were narrowly beaten into second place. The eventual winners recorded 46 points whilst Cuddesdon A had 45 points from a possible maximum of 60. Special mention goes to Dick Martin who won Section B & Julian Rayment who came second in Section C.
