Crayfish removal

We have been focusing on trying to remove crayfish from the river to improve the fishing for everyone. We removed lots from cuddesdon and chiselhampton before the start of the season , including egg carrying females, and we are trying to concentrate on trapping the crayfish in each swim to be used on the following weekends match section. Currently we have been dispatching approx 100 crayfish per week and they are not appearing during the matches. We will continue with the removal as often as possible dependent on time available. If you fish a section and have a net in your swim then obviously remove it whilst fishing but return it back into the flow before leaving. DO NOT release any crayfish back to the river.
