Clubs Mission Statement

The CMVAA club officers & committee have agreed to work towards improving the fishing to achieve two measurable objectives:

1/ For the club membership to grow to over 100 anglers

2/ For the Aggregate Cup to be won with over 100lb

We hope to achieve both objectives by the 2021 / 2022 season. Our membership is currently around 90 anglers so we need to improve the fishing to pass the 100 target. The bigger challenge is for the Aggregate Cup (awarded for the total weight caught over 20 qualifying matches) to be won with over 100lb. This hasn't been achieved since 1998 which is now 20 years ago! We expect the combined effects of the additional fish stocks & habitat improvements along with the significant decrease of signal crayfish & mink to help us achieve these objectives.
